Back up
Did anyone tell you that experience teach you a lot? Well.. my experience does teach me well. I had to learn it in a hard time. Saving your file and photographs in a hard disk is a very risky way. It was something I used to do before until I lost thousands of images when my hard disk crash, but not anymore. I do my backup in a DVDs . If you haven't back up you photos, better do it.

I thought saving my photo collections in external hard disk would be safer.
But yeah, I agree with your recommendation.
Thanks for the reminder. :)
losing thousands of photos? wah, that must be a painful experience beyond imagination. hope u have the print out.
last time i stored my photos in an external hard disk n also backup TWO copies to CDR. quite troublesome n costly (cost of many many CDRs n CD filing space = can buy a new HD)...
so... now I have 2 external hard disks in case one of them fails. hard disk tends to enter high-risk period after 2 years. so i will buy one new hd very 1 or 2 year, to keep up with the growing file size and to minimize risk of hardware failure. expensive solution, but i view it as an insurance.
but i can't prevent both hard disks got stolen or destroyed by fire at the same time. no "offsite" backup plan so far...
itu lah, listen to what Louis Pang said, simpan satu backup in a fireproof safe. kalau gini, mau sewa safe deposit box and kasi insure lagi tu stock photos...bilang sama tu insurance co., is priceless art..ahhaha.. artist bah photographer ni. :)
Hahahah, butul du wendell...
aiya, hardisk ka? erm... buy two external hardisk ba... i usually simpan satu di desktop, satu di external HD.. satu? erm... secret... hahah
