New Site design

Hi guys, I just finished changing style on my website www.jollenceleephoto.com . I kinda not into really static site so the old one is more on a static kind of site and it is hard to add new stuff in an instant. So I made this new one which a little bit user friendly. I made it link with with my blog where in the new site design you can see what new in my blog too. Now I'm slowly adding new stuff in there and you can start to have a visit on it.

The Sandakan Bird Fair 2008 was a great success. I know I just been so lazy to do a report about it. luckily my friend Jordan make some write up on his blog about it and it was a good one. Here is the link to his blog http://amazingborneo.blogspot.com. Some photos was posted in there too.

Winner of Nikon Cap and Capture NX2 CD

A short video I do the pick. The Nikon Cap goes to Berto86 and the Capture NX2 cd goes to Philip and ULAI.

New Domain Name

This is the one thing that I had to have before the new year of 2009. A custom domain for my blog. It is official now www.jollencelee.com . This domain I was very skeptic to have it on my blogspot, I was planning to have it on proper webhosting but finally made my decision to have it for my blog. Google are using Godaddy for registering my domain. Anyway, you still can visit my blog with the old blog address http://jollence.blogspot.com as it will redirect it automatically to my blog.

New Blog Layout

I decided going for large, It took me few hours to make all the adjustment of the blog layout. A landscape images better view in large so that can be appreciate. Basically what I changed was the blog post wrapper size and I eliminate several uneccessary widgets and make it to two column blog layout.

Extended to Monday

Last monday I made a post I'm giving away a Nikon Cap and two trial version Capture NX2. Seem like not many people interested. I'm extending it till monday. The Capture NX2 trial version after you install to your computer, you can make to full version by purchasing a key from Nikon. Few new cool editing feature inside New Capture NX2 version. You want it say in the comment.

Sabah Blogger Gathering

Nikon Team!!

Joj, Louis, Jonathan, me and Collin

Last night I attended the blogger meeting and meet up some fellow bloggers. I didn't took so much picture last night so only this one picture that good to post. Louis Pang was the star last night as everybody wanted to meet him personally. I only spend about one hour there then took off.. coz I had to be some where else last night. As b'coz so rush I didn't manage to let them know I took off. well even it was short time but I had great time.

New Header

New header picture... I'm not really a fan of Kodak but I used it often before when I'm still shooting with slide film, Kodak gives more red and yellow colors. I am actually a fan of Fujifilm. I used Fuji Velvia for most of my shots but buying a lot of that film drain my pocket. Now a day I'm quite happy with Dslr that keeps my money stay in my pocket. Now I don't shoot with slide film so I put it in my blog header so I remember, I started doing photography with film.

My Recent Update

It’s been awhile since my last post to my blog. Now is already February and a lot of things happening for this month, Chinese New Year.. “Hong Bao” lai.. a Chinese red packet which contain money.. A married family member will give the red packet to the family members who still single. They kept asking me when I’m going to get marry. It’s because they still have to give me “Hong Bao”. February is also a month for a lover which 14 February … A Valentine Day. Ashes Wednesday is around the corner and we all Catholic will not eat meat every Friday until Easter. And oh Louis give a Hong Bao but it’s not money.. It is something betters that money. It’s a fine print for my house wall.
Yes, I made the 2000^th comment on his blog and won a fine print from him. I made a comment in his blog and found out next after submitting my comment that I made a spelling mistake. I literally made a correction of the word “price” to “*Prize” and indeed the word “prize” that I type was the 2000^th comment. Louis call me up to tell me about it. I’m really happy with it.

I don't have any recent work but I help my friend with their wedding recently. They have hire other photographer to take photo for their wedding so I'm just helping out. So these are some of the shots.

Back in Action

Browsing My Blog

Its been a long time since my last time browsing the internet using internet explorer. Yesterday when I saw my blog's layout when I open with internet explorer, I'm very surprise where the page layout was in total mess where my blog's right sidebar was no where to be seen. When I scroll down, it was down there. I thought there was something wrong with my blog html but when I open with Mozilla Firefox everything was in order exactly the setting I made. So I then I know there is nothing wrong with the page but it was has to do with the browser. My blog is best view with Mozilla Firefox. If you haven't had the Mozilla Firefox installed in your computer, you can find the download button on my blog's sidebar. Please let me know how is my blog layout if you are using different browser other than Firefox.

Subscribing My Feed

I think not many people know how to use a RSS Feed especially in Sabah where many people still using internet explorer for browsing the internet. Not many people have heard or even don't use firefox. Mostly the people who already started using Mozilla Firefox know that they get fast browsing and as well as not many pop ups. Now what I mean for RSS Feed is that you can subscribe to my feed by just simply click on my feedburner button or subscribe in reader and If you are using Firefox for browsing you can see my updated post on the above bar(view Image example). If haven't install Mozilla Firefox for you computer you can download from the button on the sidebar of my blog. It is easy for you to know whenever I made a new post of new stories on my blog when you use it. So if you like my post and you want to get an update everytime you can subscribe as reader.
