Photography Workshop

Recently JAKIM organize a photography workshop in Kundasang conducted by Cede Prudente and John Kong from Borneo Images. The photography workshop was organize for the staff of JAKIM so they learn the basic of photography and computer editing works. The workshop was taking a duration of two days and one night. The participant has to learn the basic of photography in two days. Cede gave a lot of inspiring talks and tips in photography and also teach how to use the camera properly and its setting(DSLR). John Kong was giving a talk about Nikon Capture NX and adobe photoshop. He demonstrate to the participant on the basic adjustment that usually used by photographers to edit their images. He also explain the advantage of shooting with RAW. How to get the more from your camera even with normal compact.The photo workshop was meant to do half indoor and half outdoor but due to the bad weather condition in Kundasang area so most of it done indoor. Me, John Prudente and Jason also involve in helping Cede and John to show the participant especially on the photoshop and Capture NX part in their own computer one by one. The participant also has a chance to hold and try on the Dslr or the high end Nikon camera D2Xs. On the last day John Kong demonstrate to the participant how to create 360 degree pano shot.I posted the example of the 360 shot done by John Kong in this post, you can click on the image to view large. All the participant get the 30 days trial of the Capture NX and the Adobe Photoshop to practice.
